Service Manager Editions Product Profile
Service Manager combines key aspects of service to provide a complete system to co-ordinate and manage the Service Department. The objective of Service Manager is to provide a highly configurable ‘off the shelf’ product range for organisations of every size.

Service Manager Editions is a range of truly scaleable, web-enabled solutions for small businesses through to larger organisations. A full upgrade path protects your initial investment and ensures you can cater for further expansion. All levels in the Editions range adopt the same interface from a Microsoft SQL Server back end database. Moving up through the range is simple, you retain the same data and as you are using the same interface, it keeps training costs to a minimum.

The Call Centre enables service operators to accurately record incoming customer calls and co-ordinate any form of action to be taken. Details of the call are logged, generating a unique call reference number to be given to the customer so that all future contact can be tracked to this reference. The Call Centre will monitor a team of engineers, remote and on-site. This ensures that calls are dealt with within the required response time and parameters are allocated to each contract in question. Planned Preventative Maintenance offers further enhancement with pre-scheduling of engineer visits included under contract.

If an engineer is unable to repair an appliance on site, or if it needs to be returned, the Workshop takes over. This module provides the facilities for operators to prepare quotations for any chargeable work or parts, book items into the workshop, and record any parts used and time taken by the workshop engineers.

Parts used either by an engineer, in the Workshop or that need to be ordered, are tracked by the system and the Billing Module ensures that both chargeable labour and parts used are passed onto the customer.

Service Manager use is a true 32 Bit application that utilises Client/Server technology, operating from either MSDE, Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle as the back office database. Data is held in an 'open systems' environment, so can be shared throughout your organisation with any authorised member of staff using other tools for extracting and analysing data.
